Frequently Asked Questions
What does 1:1 mean?
1:1 to us means one groomer per dog! We have a stylist assigned to each dog on site during their appointment window. This does not mean your pup is the only dog on site at their appointment time. We have 4 tables located in our salon so on a typical day there are 3-4 pups being worked on in the same space within a few feet of each other. If you have a dog with dog reactivity we may not be the best option depending on the level of severity.
Can I book two dogs at once?
Absolutely! Either book back to back appointment times, the same time slot with multiple groomers, or let us know that you are booking for two dogs so that we can adjust your appointment time accordingly. If new clients, please just make sure to fill out the new client form for both pups so we have each dog’s specific info.
Cancellation Policy Details?
We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 48 hours before the beginning of your appointment so we can fill that time slot. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of appointment start time will be charged 50% of service total. We understand things come up! If rescheduling, not cancelling, within 24 hours contact us to avoid the cancellation fee.
Do you crate dogs?
We do have a few crates on site for logistic purposes if a dog needs to hang out for things like waiting for pick up or slight appointment overlaps although we do our best to avoid this! We really appreciate timely owner pick up to avoid the housing dogs as much as possible. We do not cage dry dogs or hold them in crates for extended periods of time. If your dog is crate aggressive let us know and we can give additional notice for groom end time estimate for pick up, or keep in our holding room vs a crate.
How often does my dog need grooming?
How much grooming a dog needs depends on its breed, age, and health. Regular grooming helps to ensure the dog is healthy and comfortable. While many dogs shed others, such as the Poodle, do not shed and require grooming every 4-12 weeks.
What if my dog is matted?
The price you pay may increase based on your pet's coat condition, if extra work is required, and if special handling is required. Each pet is evaluated before services are performed so you know exactly what you are getting.
Can I drop off my dog and pick up at the end of the day?
Due to small salon space, we encourage you to drop off and pick up at the time slots set by your appointment. Floof books each dog in for their personal appointment time, so we can prioritize your dog during their service and give them the dedicated attention they deserve. If for some reason you need an exception, we may be able to work with you for special circumstances, but do to limited holding space we may not be able to accommodate.
